Sr. Financial Analyst, Enterprise Supplier Management
The Financial Analyst Team in Enterprise Supplier Management provides strategic pricing analysis and support throughout the deal negotiation process. We support the lifecycle of supplier negotiations, beginning with ESM\xe2\x80\x99s annual Category Strategy planning exercise, through RFP\xe2\x80\x99s, negotiations, and ultimately savings recognition and reporting. As a Sr. Financial Analyst in ESM, you will be responsible for creating and analyzing pricing scenarios for high-impact supplier negotiations, and providing clear recommendations throughout the negotiations and contracting process. You will partner across the team to execute and enhance key reporting challenges
The role will require working with leadership, third party managers, contract managers, sourcing teams, other financial analysts, and business customers who have a wide variety of backgrounds, styles, and skill sets. This role requires strong communication, problem solving, strategic thinking, and influencing skills in order to effectively:
Articulate outcomes of analysis and relevant insights
Partner with stakeholders and leadership to assess the financial implications of key supplier negotiations
Develop presentations to communicate business and analysis results to a variety of audiences
Responsibilities:
Partner with ESM and LOB customers to drive optimal pricing outcomes via supplier negotiations
Research financial and economic trends for specific projects and suppliers, develop cost models to be used in individual area analysis and make business recommendations
Effectively challenge and recommend purchasing strategies and decisions with grounded analysis, insightful questions, and clear communication
Create executive-ready presentations to communicate key findings, analysis, and recommended action
Facilitate transparency and knowledge sharing across Supplier Categories
Manage ongoing reporting processes, including the ESM Savings Validations process, Spend Reporting & Analytics, and Risk Metrics Reporting
Partner with ESM stakeholders on various automation efforts utilizing a variety of skills and tools such as SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, and Looker Studio
Independently manage and prioritize workload
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or military experience
At least 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in financial analysis
At least 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with financial modeling
At least 2 years\' experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Finance
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in financial analysis
3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with financial modeling
3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in strategic analysis & planning
Strong learning agility; quick to pick up new concepts and implement action
Proven business relationship, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
Demonstrated independent problem solving and strategic thinking abilities
Strong teamwork skills; ability to positively contribute to overall success of the team
