Job Summary:

The Senior IT Business Analyst is responsible for supporting a critical system that supports important business capabilities at NCS. This role will require understanding business processes, eliciting and documenting requirements, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver effective IT solutions across this platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements.

- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather relevant information.

- Analyze and document current and future state business processes.

Analysis and Documentation:

- Analyze complex business problems and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.

- Document business, functional, and technical requirements using industry-standard methodologies.

- Create detailed process maps, data models, and other relevant documentation.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Work closely with business users, subject matter experts, and IT teams to ensure a common understanding of requirements.

- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Solution Design:

- Collaborate with solution architects and development teams to design effective and efficient IT solutions.

- Provide input on system architecture, data models, and integration points.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

- Develop test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of delivered solutions.

- Collaborate with testing teams to conduct system testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing.

Change Management:

- Support change management processes by providing documentation, training materials, and user support.

- Assist in the implementation and rollout of new systems and processes.

Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.

- Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field. Master\'s degree is a plus.

- 7+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on IT projects.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Knowledge of industry-standard business analysis methodologies.

- Familiarity with project management methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

- Knowledge of business process modeling tools.

- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.

- Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (PMI Professional in Business Analysis) are a plus.
