CuraScript Specialty Distribution by Evernorth is a wholesale pharmaceutical distributor providing customized business solutions along with managing access to and distribution of pharmaceuticals to community physicians, specialty pharmacies, and health systems.CuraScript SD is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sr. Manager to join its Technology Strategy team. The Sr. Manager will be responsible for leading the data management and SAP Analytics Cloud Business Intelligence/Planning teams, collaborating with other technology teams (intake, configuration, delivery, and execution), partnering closely with the Business Insights Team on understanding the needs of business partners to deliver solutions that provide actionable results. Responsibilities include team development, definition, and execution of data management and BI/Planning strategies, creating and implementing department processes, and working with others to ensure the team is prioritizing and delivering solutions that meet business needs in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.The ideal candidate will have proven track record of developing teams, a strong background in data management along with reporting and analytics, and requirements management; additionally, the candidate will have knowledge in supply chain and distribution management and an understanding of the relationships between SAP Analytics Cloud, S4/HANA, IBP, HANA Cloud DB, CPI, EWM, EDI/IDOCs, and Commerce Cloud.Leadership:

• Develop and roll out a data management methodology for data availability and usage: training, onboarding, playbooks, templates, guidelines, checklists, and standards.
• Partner with the Business Insights Team on company-wide adoption of data-driven decision-making and the use of analytics.
• Collaborates with managers/directors across the business to understand BI needs and pain points, manage and prioritize work to address those needs.
• Write and conduct employee performance evaluation, make hiring decisions, and carry out supervisory duties.
• Proactively guide, coach, reward employees, and take corrective action to improve employee performance where needed.
• Ensure clarity around priorities and goals for the entire team.
• Develop and implement actionable strategies to help team meet their targets.

Responsibilities:

• Define best practice approach to data management, reporting and analytics, and create a roadmap of initiatives to deliver on strategy ensure data management policies are defined/enforced across all solutions.
• Establish process to manage/govern the usage of various system views (CDS, calculation, consumption, etc.), custom tables (z-tables), and data integrations to drive data reuse.
• Understands technology investment needs and work with cross functional leadership to help ensure benefits are realized.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and function as a key point of contact for business stakeholders.
• Work with Technical Product Owners (BRM/TPO), Technology PMO, and the Functional teams on estimating cost/effort for assigned enhancements and project tasks; partner with BRM/TPOs on aligning solutions to delivery roadmaps.
• Understand the interaction and relationship of business operations, business processes, and supported system applications.
• Partner with Program Governance and Delivery teams on the prioritization of demand delivery across work streams.
• Oversee the creation of requirements (business, functional, non-functional, security, etc.), functional design and functional specification documentation for data management and reporting solutions.
• Develop solutions in coordination with other technology teams: configuration, development, BASIS, infrastructure.
• Monitor, review, and approve change control (transports/Charms) and validation documentation.
• Assign and prioritize project and enhancement tasks; deploy available resources to meet project deadlines and respond to business enhancement priorities.
• Participates in the technical evaluation of new technologies and makes recommendations to address business solutions.

Skills:

• Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection.
• Knowledge and understanding of database architectures and data management processes and methodologies.
• Knowledge of data migration (ETL) and Data Warehousing methodologies.
• Well versed with data quality concepts including Data Profiling, Cleansing and Continuous monitoring.
• Strong understanding of technology, data management, data analytics, and ability to assess and articulate risk.
• Hands on experience BI tools and business analytics.
• Exhibit a high degree of decision-making capability, and work independently, sometimes with minimal direction.
• Relationship building: ability to listen, build rapport, and credibility as a strategic partner
• Strategic thinking: ability to understand organizational vision and influence business capability roadmaps.
• Managing team performance against goals/objectives.

Overall Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or applicable field of study, or equivalent related work experience
• 10+ years of experience in data management and reporting
• 7+ years of team management experience
• 7+ years of experience with reporting and analytics tools; experience with SAP S/4 HANA and SAP BI solutions such as SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, SAP Business Objects, HANA Cloud DB, SAP BW4HANA, SAP Embedded Analytics.

Additional Qualifications

• Big 4 consulting manager experience preferred
• Masters of Business Administration preferred
• Experience in supply chain management, wholesale pharmaceutical distribution, or life sciences preferred
• Prior SAP implementation/upgrade experience and best practice knowledge preferred
• Working knowledge of SAP MDG and DataSphere - preferred
