Summary
The Senior Manager of Supplier Diversity is responsible for the fostering, adoption, measurement, and overall creation of the supplier diversity program. This includes but it not limited to creating a business plan and value proposition for the supplier diversity department, setting up sound and best practices for metrics on the program, creating relationships with leadership across the business, defining program success, working with internal and external TM\'s on opportunities to engage and bid diverse vendors in a sound and timely fashion.
This is a Hybrid position based in Raleigh, NC.
Scope:
Ability to work cross functionally within the Advance brands
Quick learner in a fast paced and complex corporate environment
Direct, develop, implement, and maintain a world class supplier diversity program
Knowledge and expertise with the diverse vendor certifications like women owned business, veteran owned business, and small business.
Sound knowledge and business practices that include engaging with memberships like WEBANK
Vet and review all potentially additional vendors that would join the program with a comprehensive scalable methodology
Demonstrate strong analytical skills to review pricing, vendor information, the tier of their diverse status, and how to report on all of this
Experience with creating and deploying a vendor diversity program successfully
Independently review and understand federal regulations and laws to assess the impact on supplier diversity program at an enterprise level
Work with 3rd party vendors and pull their reporting into the Advance global program
Evaluate and implement new processes, informing cross-functional departments regarding updated requirements and process flows
Expertise in creating and managing a diverse vendor database with integrity for reporting
Attend and be a leader at supplier diversity forums, trade shows, and diverse business association meetings
Manages and creates presentation for Senior Leadership
Creates clear goals and metrics for the supplier diversity program
Experience working cross functionally to update and be the owner on process documents like but not limited to a corporate policy, SOP, guidance documents, and training manuals.
Experienced in the indirect procurement lifecycle and understands when to weave this program into that workflow
Prepares reports on the status of the program spend by category, savings, trends, market trends, economic impact of the program, and innovation that has led to cost decreases
Negotiate and have an understanding of 3rd party vendor contracts which includes master service agreements, terms and conditions, non-disclosure agreements, statements of work and termination agreements.
Leader in a very hands-on team that takes on additional special projects or asks as needed

Knowledge and expertise with tier I, II, and III diverse reporting
Proven track record with crafting and publishing reports and metrics to the street, with the support of a communications team

Exhibits strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
Keen understanding of procurement best practices
Strength in presenting and sharing a comprehensive vision

Microsoft office expertise and strength in areas like PowerPoint, word, and excel
A leader that isn\'t intimidated by a title and can converse with all levels of an organization
Needs to have a high-level understanding of contracts, RFP\'s, negotiation best practices and vendor governance best practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications:
Minimum of ten years in a procurement and/or supplier diversity category
Three plus years of managing team members local or globally
Bachelor\'s degree in a related field, business management, supply chain, or sourcing preferred
