As a Sr RF Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertise to design, develop, and test our complex products and technologies. These cover a very wide range from state of the art mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. You\'ll be responsible for RF front-end design, radio propagation modeling and prediction, microwave path analysis, interference analysis and filter design, RF frequency planning, analog-to-digital conversion, and circuit design.

We are seeking a Senior RF Engineer with a Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering or related Engineering field. The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains \xe2\x80\x93 air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor\'s Degree in RF Engineering or related Engineering discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
  • Higher-level degree may substitute for relevant experience
  • Advanced understanding of engineering principles and practices, including various RF modeling, analysis techniques, and tools
  • Progressive experience working in multi-disciplinary design & development teams
  • Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools
  • Advanced understanding of RF engineering principles and practices including radiation and antenna theory, coupling and transmission line structures, and the application of circuit elements including oscillators, amplifiers, mixers, detectors, combiners, filters, and impedance transforming networks to RF system design
  • Experience with RF lab instruments including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers
  • Experience with RF printed circuit board design
  • Experience with electromagnetic simulation and analysis
  • Proficiency with hand tools
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
Preferred:
  • Master\'s Degree in RF Engineering
  • Experience with xDX Designer / Xpedition for RF CCA design
  • Experience with Ansys products (HFSS, SBR+, EMIT)
  • Experience with Cadence AWR Microwave Office / Visual System Simulator
  • Experience with MATLAB
  • An active SECRET or higher clearance is a plus

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $138,634.92 - $190,623.01. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates\xe2\x80\x99 key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
