Job Description

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking candidates for a Sr. Retail Food Service Manager position at LCMC East Jefferson Hospital, located in Metairie, LA. The Sr. Retail Food Service Manager will oversee the day-to-day Retail operations (front of the house dining operations). Position will plan, administer and direct all unit activities related to multiple site retail outlets.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage Front of House (Cafeteria, Coffee Shop, Quick Service) dining operations
• Develop and implement retail services plan to improve service, quality and profitability of service areas.
• Maintain effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified retail experience for customers.
• Manages marketing, merchandising and cash handling procedures.
• Ensures that requirements for appropriate sanitation and safety levels in respective areas are met
• Maintains effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships
• Drives customer service and tracks and responds to survey results.
• Directly supervises two or more employees with responsibility for hiring, discipline, performance reviews and initiating pay increases
• Assists in location forecast and accounting; tracks sales trends and drives sales.
• Implements specials and LTOs and coordinates pop up restaurants, Fooda, etc.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years progressive retail management experience within a food service operation required.
• Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor Degree or an Associates Degree
• Ideal candidates will have experience in managing multiple points of sales and multiple retail sites.
• This is a fast paced, high volume environment requiring 3+ years\' experience with a minimum of $2MM in managed volume. Individuals from casual or business dining or hotel/convention services may do well.
• Marketing, merchandising, and cash handling experience required.
• SERV Safe Certification and/or food safety knowledge required.
• Effective communication (listening, verbal and written) skills with clients, customers of client and support staff.
• Retail technology and computer skills required.
• This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
