Job Description

The Sr. Social Media Strategist will be responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of an integrated, data-driven social media strategy aimed at increasing brand awareness and engagement among our clients\xe2\x80\x99 audiences. The incumbent will also oversee daily community operations, including the creation and publishing of proactive and reactive content, and will be responsible for tracking performance on all channels against KPIs.

What you will do

• Manage campaign content planning, development, and production, ensuring POV, brand tone, voice, and personality are consistent with that of the brand.
• Develop an overall social content calendar that is grounded in data, consumer behavior, and context.
• Collaborate with internal and client teams to develop content packages and deployment recommendations.
• Help with outreach efforts to influencers when needed.
• Monitor social media conversations and news media to find opportunities on behalf of the brand.
• Measure and optimize efforts against KPIs
• Represent the social media team in client-facing meetings.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in marketing, social media, communications, or a related field
• 5+ years in social strategy across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, blogs, and forums
• Highly organized. Attention to detail is critical to succeeding in this role.
• Strong writing and presentation skills.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and tools and how they interact in an ecosystem.
• Previous experience with content and engagement. Experience with Sprout Social, Meltwater, Cision, and Sprinklr preferred.
• Collaborative, solution-oriented and action-biased
• Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications

• PR or social media experience
• Prior multicultural marketing experience
