Location/Division Specific Information The Sr. Technical Sales Training Specialist for the Biosciences Division is a member of the North America Market Development team, responsible for the development and implementation of sales technical training content, in alignment with commercial sales organization needs, across various product lines. How you will make an impact With the support of internal product portfolio owners, you\'ll own the development of product and experimental workflow training materials, ensuring that all content generated is aligned with go-to-market strategies with an emphasis on competitive positioning and selling approaches. You will give training presentations both live and recorded for a diverse commercial sales audience, ensuring knowledge transfer, and helping maintain/update the content of existing training materials so that the most relevant training content is available to all members of the sales organization. You will act as a training resource aligning internal-facing product and technical training materials with marketing programs that will lead to revenue, improved customer engagement, and growth! You will liaison with a cross-functional team of marketing managers, product managers, and sales leaders to identify training needs focusing on diverse product and workflow topics that work to promote better selling and positioning strategies across different customer segments within the life sciences. This is a highly visible individual contributor position where quality, clarity of voice, scalability, and understanding of our internal audience are paramount to success in this role. Engage with product and portfolio owners to develop learning solutions using a variety of authoring tools, technologies, and delivery mechanisms
Collaborate with Manager and cross-functional teams to scope training requirements, objectives, and resources
Develop, maintain, and present product and workflow-based training content for sales
Support the Regional Marketing team at the bi-annual sales meetings
How you will get there? Education Requirement
Minimum education requirement is a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in biology or related biological sciences field.
Masters\xe2\x80\x99 degree or Ph.D. in life sciences preferred
Experience:
Experience training commercial selling teams on workflows, products, and sales approaches based on customer needs
Previous field/commercial/sales experience preferred with a working understanding of professional selling skills methodology and terminology
3 plus years of Practical laboratory experience in life sciences
Strong understanding of instructional design, curriculum generation with emphasis on web-based training modules or related training experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Excellent interpersonal, oral, written, and visual communication
Skilled at taking technical topics and converting them to easily digestible content
Solid understanding of laboratory or experimental biological sciences
Understanding of commercial sales teams and their experiences to drive meaningful sales rep calls to action
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in an individual and team setting
Capable of identifying and implementing alternative solutions when impediments prevent the current process from being completed
eLearning tools and experience in scriptwriting, video and podcast generation

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
