Will move, pickup, and/or deliver equipment, supplies, and other materials related to events.
Installs event related equipment including tables, chairs, stages, and athletic competition items for basketball, hockey, soccer, or football.
Delivers and installs rental equipment.
Facilitates warehouse equipment movement and setup/teardown.
Help with the construction of event staging, seating risers, event risers, and other event materials.
Repairs custom equipment as needed. Serves as facility contact to adjust setups, monitor and deliver on-demand event changes and ensure facility is properly set for events.
Facilitates small facility improvement projects including minor carpentry, painting, landscaping, lighting, mechanical, and/or plumbing as dictated by event load.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum Education/Experience:
High School Diploma and 1 year of industry relevant experience OR Bachelor\'s degree in Sport Management/Recreational Studies/Event Management/or Related field.
Minimum Field of Expertise:
Understanding and working knowledge of large venue, facility, or public assembly building operations and maintenance.
Experience in event management including athletic competitions, musical concerts, community events, and/or filmings.
Experience in the setup, execution, and teardown of events. Demonstrated ability to learn city and state building codes and OSHA work standards.
Additional Information pertinent to this specific position:
Schedule will include nights and weekends as dictated by events held in the facilities.
