We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations by performing various accounting tasks with precision and accuracy. General Responsibilities: The Staff Accountant prepares journal entries, reconciliations and supports various activities in the accounting department.

Primary Responsibilities: Support the month end close processes by preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, and various manufacturing performance analysis. Accounts receivable collections.

Secondary Responsibilities: Participate in developing training and process documentation. Learn new tasks and take on new responsibilities as needed.

Reports to: Controller

Position will start as Hybrid and will transition to remote

Key Skills:

• Minimum 3 years accounting related experience or education.
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel to develop and maintain spreadsheets.
• Strong understanding of debits and credits.
• Experience with Journal Entry preparation and posting.
• Perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank, credit card and balance sheet accounts.
• Continuous application of best practices, adding value through process improvement and creating workflow efficiencies (reduce processing time, improve accuracy, and reduce paper-based processes).
• Ability to work independently
• Highly Organized; Excellent Communication and Customer Service
• Critical Thinking; History of Sound Decision Making equivalent to the needs of this position.

• Desire to learn new tasks and expand role.
• Experience performing reconciliations, accruals, journal entries and other accounting related tasks.
• Experience using M1 Manufacturing ERP and TEAMS is a plus, but not required.
