Job Description

Our client, a leading Engineering/Architecture company, is seeking a Staff Civil Engineer to join their team. As a Staff Civil Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department, supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in civil engineering, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions.

Job Title: Staff Civil Engineer

Location: Vancouver, Washington

Pay: $45/h + Benefits

Key Responsibilities

Shape the Future: Collaborate with project teams to craft visionary designs for new projects, renovations, and redevelopments across multiple sectors.

Engineering Excellence: Perform civil design work, guiding projects from conceptualization to design completion.

Design Innovation: Modify and review production drawings for various projects, from electrical substations to compressor stations.

Tailored Solutions: Create civil components that meet project requirements and align with project manager directives.

Engineering Mastery: Apply your deep knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and codes, contributing to the industry\'s growth.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program.

Or Bachelor of Science in Civil or related Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program and successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.

Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering may be substituted for 1 year of experience.

5 years of civil engineering experience, consulting preferred.

Successful completion (i.e., passing) PE preferred.

Strong knowledge in standard civil engineering techniques and procedures.

Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills.

Strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D), and/or hydraulic, hydrologic, pavement, civil analysis programs.
