As a member of the healthcare team here at Riverview Health, the Staff Pharmacist demonstrates active patient advocacy to ensure all rights are identified and met for every patient. The Staff Pharmacist encompasses all duties relating to providing exemplary customer service at Riverview Health. Outstanding customer service skills and understanding of confidentiality and productivity are required by the Staff Pharmacist.

Must have experience in retail and inpatient hospital. Must be willing to work every other weekend. POSITION SUMMARY

• Interprets physician\'s orders and compounds and dispenses medications and other pharmaceuticals in accordance with the legal and ethical standards of the profession. Provides drug information to other healthcare professionals. Monitors drug therapy to prevent drug interactions or other potential problems

Staff Pharmacist Job Requirements:

• Minimum Education: Indiana State Board of Pharmacy License Pharmacy degree from an accredited university, as required by law.
• Minimum Experience: Pharmacy Graduate of an accredited university.
• Preferred Experience: 1 year of hospital pharmacist experience.
