Manpower Medical Recruiter & Scheduler

What is a Scheduler?
Medical Schedulers help keep medical offices, facilities, nursing homes and hospitals running smoothly. Their key responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling medical professionals for shifts/assignments, communicating confirmation details, and keeping key stakeholders in the know. Medical schedulers are often the face and/or voice that medical professionals and facilities encounter on a daily basis. Qualified candidates need to have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and solving problems.

Primary tasks and responsibilities

• Coordinates schedules for medical professionals and facilities.
• Communicates schedules and ongoing changes to key stakeholders
• Interacts with external customers, vendors, and internal staff to obtain information needed to facilitate work planning, scheduling prioritization, resolution of issues, incorporating changes, and identification of other special requirements
• Maintains accurate records of all transactions
• Assists with overall recruiting efforts to find, engage, secure and retain new team members.
• Utilizes computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting

Education and experience

• Strong customer service skills and eagerness to work with people
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must pass work eligibility requirements
• HS Diploma or GED required
• 1-2 years of scheduling experience preferred but not required
• Strong computer and communication skills
• Attention to detail is a must
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Specifically Excel
• Must enjoy working with others and solving problems
