Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary:

• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to coordinate and collaborate in the overall cleaning, disinfection, assembly and sterile processing of instruments needed for daily surgical and invasive procedures
• Knowledgeable regarding instrumentation handling, care, cleaning, assembly and sterilization .Is able to document all processes and ensure sterilization parameters are met in accordance with Hospital policy and AAMI standards
• Performs delegated duties consistent with his/her scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan for SRMC
• Displays positive support for the values and mission of SRMC
• Call and weekends may be required for this position

What qualifications you will need:

• CRCST/CBSPD certification preferred
• Experience in sterile processing with multi-specialty or instrumentation preferred
