job summary:
A Structural Design Engineer is needed for an engineering consulting company in the Boise, ID area. This position supports advanced industrial facility design, emphasizing analytical skills, communication, and collaboration, suited for experienced professionals in industrial design with software proficiency.

responsibilities:

• Provide engineering and analysis support within the Tool Install group for the Site Based Solutions team.

• Participate in designing cutting-edge industrial and high-tech manufacturing facilities alongside a collaborative team of Designers and Engineers.

• Apply engineering, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced design and construction environment.

• Assist in equipment supports, technical detailing, and installation design packages for advanced facilities.

• Collaborate with clients and subcontractors for equipment support and installation design.

• Occasionally retrofit existing building systems for tool installation.

• Utilize strong design capabilities and computer-based design/documentation knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering or related field.

• PE license

• Proficiency in Staad or other analysis software.

• Minimum 5 years of Structural Design experience.

• strong verbal and written communication skills.

• strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industrial design experience, especially in semiconductor facilities or similar.

• Experience with AutoCad and Revit.

• Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas.

• Quick learner with a drive to expand knowledge.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in various teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.
