Job Description

This position will perform a variety of office support and technical activities as it relates to Licensing and Investigations. This position collects and reviews documentation for completion and accuracy as it relates to the licensing of law enforcement officers. This position provides customer service to the law enforcement community through responding to inquires in a timely manner. Assist members of the section staff in achieving and maintaining accreditation through research and evaluating current policies and procedures and making recommendations. The position is required to perform all duties in a bias free manner.Required Education and ExperienceEducationCurrent enrollment in high school, vocational or technical school, or post-secondary educational institution.ExperienceNo specific type or amount is required.Additional Requirements and InformationThe student must provide evidence of enrollment or acceptance to an educational institution.This position requires passing a pre-employment screening, including passing a drug screen, criminal history background check, and a fingerprint check by the Michigan State Police.Please attach a cover letter/memo, resume, and official college transcripts (if applicable) to your application.
