Job Description


BASIC FUNCTION:

Responsible for maintaining data management in the company\'s human resources information systems; taking ownership of high data integrity through accurate and timely transaction entry, and regular audits; troubleshooting irregularities; partnering with HRBP and HRIS to research and correct discrepancies and ensuring compliance. Additionally, the Supervisor, HR Master Data, will perform a variety of research activities and support multiple functions in order to develop and support strategic initiatives.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: (functions considered essential as defined by ADA)

  • Meets service level agreements for timely transaction entries.
  • Ensures business requirements from internal and external business groups are met.
  • Supports the business groups and operating partners in early needs assessment and project sizing.
  • Supports/participates on project teams for upgrades, new applications/modules, data loads, requirement gathering, business process review, project management, testing, documentation, communication, etc.
  • Ensures data integrity through management of data and effective data processing guidelines. Develops, documents, and implements new and revised processes to improve data integrity.
  • Maintains a very high degree of confidentiality related to personnel data and other information maintained in information systems.
  • Assignments are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity
  • Reviews progress and evaluates results.
  • Proactively identifies and recommends process improvement.
  • Develops, maintains, analyzes, and supports reports of varying complexities utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
  • Identifies, evaluates, and resolves data anomalies by running reports and performing analysis on selected information.
  • Interacts with leaders, supervisors, and teams to complete necessary data management required for data processing and auditing.
  • Develops/maintains standard work processes, user procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
  • Assists in the training of new staff on systems and related procedures.
  • Supports annual programs and initiatives by performing associated/assigned tasks.
Special assignments, tasks, or projects assigned to the employee from time to time by their manager.

Experience:

A minimum of seven years of job-related experience in a similar environment is required.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

One to three years of Human Resources or data management experience is preferred.

EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:

A minimum of a Bachelor\'s Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience is required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

SAP HR and Payroll systems knowledge, transaction entry skills, and ability to apply this knowledge. Strong interpersonal, organization, and written/oral communication skills. Strong teamwork, decision-making, judgment, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle special projects and complex data management. Customer service orientated.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages up to four employees within the Master Data group.

WORK CONDITIONS:

Office-based with the possibility of weekends and nights based upon business needs. Up to 10% of travel by land and air is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Job conditions require sitting, talking or hearing, making visual inspections, making precise hand & finger movements, reaching or grasping, lifting and/or carrying up to 25 lbs., pushing and/or pulling up to 25 lbs., climbing up to 3ft, and perceiving color differences. Job conditions may require standing, walking, twisting, stooping, crouching, or kneeling.

Basic Function
