We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsThe Certified Surgical Technologist delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing various functions tosupport the efficient operation of the surgical suite. Under the supervision of the Circulating RN, the Certified SurgicalTechnologist prepares the surgical suite, positions and prepares the patient, and provides instruments, equipment, andsupplies to the surgical team during the procedure. The Certified Surgical Technologist ensures a sterile field, properinstrument counts, and proper operation of instruments and equipment. The Certified Surgical Technologist participatesin patient-specific care as directed and follows service excellence standards to promote optimum patient satisfaction.What qualifications you will need:High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Required

• Vocational training program in Surgical Technology Required

Or equivalent combination of education and/or experienceLicensure, Certifications, Training:Currently certified as Surgical Technician or SurgicalTechnologist in the state(s) of practice, in accordancewith law and regulation.Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Vocational School Graduate
