• Sign-on bonus: $5,000.00
• Department: Surgery
• Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours weekly, Monday - Friday, 4 10 hour shifts, 6:30am - 5:00pm, able to take call after hours, weekends and holidays

Responsibilites

Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

• Prepares surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies.
• Hands required and requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery.
• Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Maintains instruments in an organized manner and monitors and tracks instruments counts throughout procedures.
• Assists surgeons provision of hemostasis during surgery.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate\'s degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

• Scrub tech graduate from approved Surgical Technology program and/or 3 years of scrub tech experience preferred.
