In this dual role, you will be responsible for supervising the design, implementation, and management of our IT infrastructure and security programs. You will ensure that our systems are scalable, highly available, cost-effective, and secure. You will partner with leaders in product engineering and machine learning to ensure we are able to develop and deploy software with both speed and quality. This role directly reports into our Chief Technology Officer.Key Responsibilities:1. Leadership and Strategy:Develop and implement a strategic vision for the company\'s infrastructure and security.Lead and mentor a team of 50+ engineers and security experts.Collaborate with executive leadership to align infrastructure and security initiatives with business objectives.Serve as the main point of contact for all infrastructure and security matters.2. Infrastructure Engineering:Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure.Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of all systems and applications.Implement and manage DevOps practices.Optimize infrastructure costs while maintaining performance and reliability.3. Security Management (CISO Responsibilities):Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive information security strategies and policies.Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.Oversee incident response planning and execution.Promote a culture of security awareness across the organization.Collaborate with CSO of Booking holdings and CISO at sister brands to align standard methodologies and leverage shared services across programs.4.
