Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is one of four Lockheed Martin business areas and is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries.

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to develop embedded software in Dallas/Grand Prairie, Texas.

In this role, you will:

- Support real-time software applications and testing for missile programs

- Integrate algorithms into C++ applications

- Work in a team with both technical and career leaders

It is possible that travel will be required to both customer and supplier sites. It is also possible that travel will be both within and outside the Continental United States (CONUS).

Basic Qualifications:
*Must currently hold a DoD Secret Security Clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years to be considered for this position*

In addition to meeting security clearance requirements, you may need to be approved to work Special Access Program (SAP) prior to start of employment.

- Bachelor\'s degree or higher, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field with significant software development experience, OR equivalent experience/combined education

- C/C++ (11 or greater is preferred)

- Embedded real-time C++ software development on embedded real-time operating system (RTOS)

- Hardware/Software integration & test

- Linux OS

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
