:ResponsibilitiesWeekend Switchboard Operator -HRI Hospital is seeking a Part Time Switchboard Operator. Available hours include Saturday and Sunday, 7am - 3pm and 3pm - 11pm.HRI Hospital is 66-bed psychiatric facility with adult inpatient services and several partial hospitalization programs. • Operate the hospital switchboard in a professional, courteous, and effective manner
• Respond to and activate hospital emergency codes and pages in a responsible and timely manner
• Welcome visitors to the hospital in a warm, professional and helpful manner
• Protect confidentiality of hospitalized patients
• Facilitate internal hospital communications in a professional and efficient manner
• Consistently, accurately, and neatly perform related clerical duties and other tasks assigned by supervisor including typing and copying
• Maintain both personal and work area in an appropriate professional and neat manner
• Reflect professional reliability and dependability through compliance of hospital attendance policy

QualificationsRequirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent;
• MS4 experience preferred
• Experience: Experience operating switchboard, computer, and other business equipment
• Skills: Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Strong ability to multi-task.
