Systems Analyst Senior Advisor - Cornerstone

The Systems Analyst Advisor represents the \xe2\x80\x9cvoice of the customer\xe2\x80\x9d at the team level, Understanding the business needs and working with scrum team to define functional specifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Analyzes, designs and prepares application/system specifications for information systems solutions which address business needs and methods for testing and installing them.

Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.

Work with scrum team members and product owners to identify and specify the complex business requirements and processes, and in the application design, testing and implementation process (e.g., diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools, etc.).

Acts as expert resource to development staff in all phases of the development and implementation process.

Focuses on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines.

Recognized internally as \xe2\x80\x9cthe go-to person\xe2\x80\x9d for the most complex Systems Analysis assignments.

Work with product owner to determine the product backlog and work with scrum team to define work items.

Coordinate, review, perform initial triage of reported defects. Coordinate with business on requirements, questions and collaborate with development team.

Document & communicate requirements, changes, defects, and questions with technical teams and validate delivered solution against requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Health Care Management, Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics or equivalent working experience.
  • 6-8 years\xe2\x80\x99 work experience with a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 work experience with a Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Expert knowledge of enrollment processing and/or claim adjudication, particularly in a Medicare Advantage environment.
  • Working knowledge of Agile Project Tracking Tools or willingness to learn same.
  • Solid organizational and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to gain fundamental understanding of new methodologies and technologies.
  • Understanding of API and has the ability to use Postman
  • Ability to write and understand basic SQL queries
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
