Middle River Aerostructure Systems is a world-leading manufacturer of engine nacelles and specialized aerostructures. It supplies and supports these products for engine makers, airplane manufacturers and aircraft operators. Located on Maryland\'s Chesapeake Bay near Baltimore, MRAS has a 1.7-million sq. ft. facility situated on 180 acres \xe2\x80\x93 where the company and its predecessors have designed, built and equipped civil and military aircraft for over 90 years. Job Summary:

This role involves supporting systems engineering management activities for development programs. It requires working with engineering team leaders, subject-matter experts, and customers to derive, document and manage the deliverable requirements and interface documents.

Job Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Derive and allocate aircraft and/or propulsion requirements and specifications from customers to supplier requirements at the system, sub-system, component and vendor levels.

\xc2\xb7 Develop requirements in collaboration with customer, subject-matter experts and project managers

\xc2\xb7 Establish traceability to customer requirements and specifications.

\xc2\xb7 Validate all levels of supplier requirements against the customer requirements.

\xc2\xb7 Work with technical team leads and customers to define internal and external interfaces of the system and develop Interface Control Documents.

\xc2\xb7 Generate and refine the requirements and interface documents for customer acceptance.

\xc2\xb7 Identify impacts from customer requirement changes.

Manage interface and requirements documents Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university or college.

\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

Desired Characteristics:

\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical and technical report writing skills.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to pay attention to details and thoroughness with documentation.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work with Integrated Product Teams and interact with customer.

\xc2\xb7 Strong interpersonal skills.

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated experience in requirements development/management processes or proficiency in tools like Jama or DOORS.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in Aerospace, Mechanical or Systems Engineering is preferred.
