SimVentions, consistently voted a Best Place to Work in Virginia, is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team! As a Systems Engineer, you will help to model and design complex tactical software for our Navy Electronic Warfare customers, update requirements in DOORS according to assigned Jira tickets as well as update documents on Confluence and Inteldocs according to assigned Jira tickets.

Responsibilities:

• Provide updates to the MagicDraw model according to assigned Jira tickets.
• Perform requirements analysis and attend meetings as part of the Requirements Working Group.
• Perform analysis of logs and DX files for assigned Test Observation Reports (TOR) and write appropriate Jira tickets based on the findings.
• Attend Agile meetings (daily stand-up, sprint review/planning/retro, backlog refinement).
• Review Jira tickets for other team members as assigned or requested.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Requirements Management
• Agile development environment
• Software Modeling experience

Additional Requirements:

Due to the requirements in the Safer Federal Workforce Taskforce guidance and the nature of our covered contracts and facilities, all employees may need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a legal exemption with approved accommodation.

Education: BS - System Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree

Minimum Clearance: ACTIVE Secret Clearance Required

Travel (if applicable): Negligible

Location: Dahlgren, VA on Base with some potential for Hybrid Telework. (must live in commutable working distance)
