Our LM Space Command and Control (C2) team at Hill AFB, UT has a need for a systems engineer who can help innovate, automate, and visualize next-generation satellite and ground C2 systems. The Systems Engineer with support design, operation, and sustainment of multiple containerized environments supporting multiple programs including the Next Generation GEO Overhead Persistent Infrared (NGG OPIR) system.

This position is very collaborative, working across Lockheed Martin with products supporting all-domain and advanced technology teams driving the state-of-the-art in industry. Familiarity with database, networks, or information systems is desired in order to efficiently integrate these capabilities into rapidly-fieldable platforms. Experience with user interface and 3D graphics visualization tools is also helpful.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance required for this role.
Basic Qualifications:

• Systems engineer with >5 years prior design experience
• Cross-team, collaborative communications experience
• This position requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Level clearance

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related degree
• Desire to work on future capabilities with rapid prototyping and demonstration
• Database design experience
• Kubernetes deployment experience
• Network design experience
• Modeling and Simulation experience
• Secret clearance a plus

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
