Manages the full cycle recruiting process in multiple locations across several states for DOT compliant commercial Drivers. This includes sourcing, screening, marketing, conducting interviews, scheduling interviews for hiring managers, conducting background checks and drug screenings, job offers, onboarding, pipeline management, ensuring compliance with all FMCSA requirements for Drivers, and 90 day follow up with new Drivers.
The duties and responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Specialist include but are not limited to the following:
Manages the screening process, ensuring candidates meet or exceed the requirements of the position and DOT guidelines for commercial drivers.
Works with Operations Managers and senior leaders to establish the hiring criteria. Ultimately building a talent pipeline for all locations to meet the hiring demands of the organization.
Anticipates hiring needs and sources, screens, and interviews candidates who meet the Company's strategic goals and initiatives.
Provides applicants with ongoing, timely communication ensuring candidates have an excellent recruiting experience.
Completes reference checks, background investigations, and pre-employment drug screening for all finalist candidates.
Partners with Human Resource Director to provide reporting on established metrics, such as time to fill, turn over, and candidate satisfaction that support high quality top talent standards.
Supports the corporate team by assisting with creating travel arrangements for employees on approved business travel.
Participates in the payroll administration process as well HR and corporate initiatives and projects and directed by senior leadership.

Job Requirements
Three years of previous full cycle recruiting experience.
Strong organizational skills.
Aptitude for being able to quickly assess talent through structured interviews.
Stays abreast of all employment guidelines and doctrines related to hiring/onboarding.
Functional Technical skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
BA degree preferred.
SHRM-CP, PHR or similar certification preferred.
Fluent in both English and Spanish a plus.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit at a desk and work for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift to 15 pounds.
