Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher's Aide to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves supporting the lead teacher in delivering engaging lessons and ensuring the well-being of students in a classroom setting. Experience early childhood education, and behavior management is highly valued.

Duties

Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities. Provide support to children during classroom activities, ensuring they are engaged and focused. Help manage classroom behavior and promote positive interactions among students. Supervise children during playtime and other activities to ensure safety and adherence to guidelines. Assist with the preparation of instructional materials and classroom organization. Foster an inclusive environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.

Requirements

Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is preferred. Familiarity with childhood development stages and behavior management techniques. Ability to provide care for toddlers and young children in a nurturing manner. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children are essential qualities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
