Job Description

We are looking for mature, reliable, and caring class aides interested in learning about Waldorf education and who have a background in play-based childcare settings. Successful candidates could begin immediately upon completing on-boarding and required clearances.

Qualified candidates must have the 12 core semester units of ECE required by Title 22: (3 units) Intro to Child Development; (3 units) Home School and Community; (3 units) Curriculum planning; and (3 units) Preschool Curriculum. Students currently enrolled in classes may apply. Candidate must clear background check, fingerprinting, and TB test. The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and faculty members. A willingness to take direction while acclimating to the school's culture and tasks is vital as well as an interest in being a helpful team member.

This person will serve as an appropriate adult role-model, assist the teacher in all aspects of classroom and yard duties, prepare and maintain the classroom, supervise and assist the children in all daily activities, and maintain a safe and inviting indoor and outdoor play area for the children.
