:ResponsibilitiesValley Hospital Medical CenterLocated in the heart of Las Vegas, Valley Hospital Medical Center is an acute care and teaching hospital that has provided high quality healthcare to residents of Southern Nevada since 1972. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of services, including advanced cardiology, neurology, surgery and more.:This position is responsible for patient care/service and assigned duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
QualificationsJob Requirements:Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required plus successful completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course or successful completion of an arrhythmia test given by the Education Department. Techs working with IVs must have successfully completed an IV course.Experience:
None required, but preferredLicense/Certification:
Current BLS Certification and certification of completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course or certification by the Education Department of successful completion of an arrhythmia test is required. Certified Phlebotomist preferred and IV certification is preferred.Other:
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
