PRINICIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
Become certified as an LG Commissioning agent for VRF systems and DOAS units.
Provide assistance in commissioning and servicing of the LG products as needed
Become a certified trainer for Ruud, Mitsubishi, Emerson, HVAC excellence, and LG.
Provide training and technical support for Emerson, Sporlan, Mitsubishi and other product lines as required
Provide onsite contractor training and technical support as needed
Follow up with contractors to ensure technical issues are resolved.
Create and administer contractor specific training as requested
Create and administer employee specific training as requested
Be the lead technical support contact for our customers and employees
Assist other Division Managers as needed.
Participate in manufacturers service programs as follows: Ruud Distributor Service Coordinator, Emmerson
Technical Specialist, Sporlan product specialist, LG Technical Service Advisor and Mitsubishi\'s Distributor Service Group Member.
Promote positive and productive relationships with branch managers and sales employees throughout the company along with division managers.
Keep abreast of the latest trends in technical training methods, topics, marketing efforts, etc. to optimize the company\'s technical training programs.
OTHER INFORMATION
Travel Requirement \xe2\x80\x93 Up to 50% travel to contractors/customers requiring some overnight stay, travel to industry related conferences and training requiring some extended stay.
Valid drivers license is required
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Minimum of a 2-year technical degree \xe2\x80\x93 4 yr. degree preferred.
At least 5 years of field service work in the HVAC industry
Diverse verbal and written communication styles and the knowledge of which style to use with the audience at hand.
Strong consulting capability with strong interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills.
Mature understanding of mechanical, electrical, Refrigeration and other building systems
Proficient in productivity tools for PC\'s
Project management and presentation skills and the ability to resolve complex problems and issues.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a complex environment.
Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint
Comfortable in sharing and presenting technical training materials to an audience of different sizes.
Willing to travel with some overnight stays.
