Your impact:
The technical editor for Car and Driver has several key responsibilities: performing instrumented testing on vehicles, generating specifications panels and charts, and helping to manage our testing protocols and database of test results. This role will write reviews and edit and review news for technical accuracy as well, according to ability. The ideal candidate has significant driving-school and/or racing experience and is comfortable pushing cars to their limits, is technically minded, and is up-to-date on all the latest happenings in the automotive world and can express that depth of knowledge in a way that can be widely understood. This position reports to the testing director.
