Job Summary:
As a Technical Functional Finance Lead, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between finance, technology, and various systems critical to the organization\'s operations. Your expertise in finance principles and technology will be instrumental in optimizing financial processes and leveraging middleware systems, including SAP PI/PO and S/4HANA, to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Additionally, experience working with Retail systems or having retail industry experience would be considered a significant advantage in this role.
Responsibilities:
Technical Finance Leadership:
Provide leadership and direction to a team of financial analysts and technologists, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial strategy.
Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the team.
Middleware Systems Integration:
Oversee the integration of financial systems (ERP, accounting, reporting, etc.) with middleware systems such as SAP PI/PO to streamline data flow and enable seamless communication between applications. SAP S/4HANA Optimization:
Leverage your expertise in SAP S/4HANA to enhance financial processes, reporting, and analytics, ensuring efficient utilization of the system\'s capabilities.
Financial Process Optimization:
Continuously evaluate existing financial processes and identify opportunities to optimize and automate using middleware systems and SAP S/4HANA.
Data Management and Accuracy:
Implement controls and processes to ensure accurate and consistent financial data flow between systems, maintaining data integrity and supporting reliable financial reporting.
Reporting and Analysis:
Lead the development and delivery of financial reports, KPIs, and dashboards, utilizing data from various systems, to provide valuable insights to key stakeholders.
Retail Systems Experience:
Utilize your expertise in retail systems or retail industry experience to enhance financial processes and align them with specific retail requirements.
Vendor Management:
Work closely with middleware and SAP vendors and third-party service providers to assess their offerings, negotiate contracts, and manage ongoing relationships.
Training and Development:
Conduct training sessions for finance and non-finance personnel to promote the effective use of various financial systems and middleware platforms.
Stay Current with Technology and Finance Trends:
Continuously research and assess emerging technologies, methodologies, and best practices in finance, middleware systems, and SAP S/4HANA, with a specific focus on retail industry advancements. Propose and implement relevant advancements.
Project Management:
Lead finance-related projects involving middleware systems and SAP S/4HANA from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budgetary constraints.
