Location/Division Specific Information

How will you make an impact? Assist in crafting and delivering engaging technical demonstrations of our Digital Science software portfolio, covering LIMS, SDMS, ELN, and integration solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, solutions development, and services, to achieve yearly booking, revenue, and growth targets. This position carries a sales quota for the Americas region. What will you do?
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, understanding their unique challenges and providing technical assessments throughout the sales cycle.
  • Build partnerships at various levels within client organizations, establishing initial technical credibility.
  • Develop a keen understanding of competitors\' strengths and weaknesses to build agile and effective sales strategies.
  • Keep abreast of our products\' intricacies, maintaining knowledge of features, functions, and processes.
  • Play a pivotal role in closing sales where technical expertise is essential for meeting clients\' needs.

Who we are looking for: experience, skills & abilities

  • Outstanding interpersonal abilities coupled with sharp business insight.
  • A basic understanding of the latest advancements in science and digital solutions for laboratories.
  • Experience in the laboratory environment, analytical chemistry and/ quality control processes is a plus
  • Technology-savvy, motivated, and adept at creative problem-solving.
  • Adaptability to remote-working patterns, participation in global calls, and a willingness to travel occasionally (up to 50%).
How will you get here?

Education

  • A bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in science, engineering, or related field.

Experience

  • Some exposure to technical sales, preferably in Laboratory Software Solutions like LIMS, ELN, and SDMS, with an understanding of software demonstrations.
  • Familiarity with industries such as life science, pharmaceutical, biotech, environmental, food & beverage, water, energy and/or chemicals
  • Awareness of commercial operations within complex sales cycles.

  • Relationship Building: Establish positive professional relationships with customers, colleagues, and upper management.
  • Technical Translation: Ability to convey technical information in a way that is understandable to non-technical customers.

Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $75,700.00\xe2\x80\x93$125,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
