Responsible for minute taking support to assigned safety panels; attendance at meetings is required to take detailed minutes that captures the technical agreements made during the meetings. In addition, edit, rewrite, and proofread technical content of reports (as needed) to improve coherence and clarity of technical documentation. This can include: validation of technical content with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), ensuring documents meet editorial and customer specifications (while adhering to technical and compliance requirements), and management of all document life cycles to maintain configuration control and meet quality standards.

Job Requirements: Required Skills:

• 5 to 10 years of technical editing or writing experience
• Ability to convert complex technical information into easily understood terminology.
• Knowledge and use of personal computer with typical professional software
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to take direction, communicate effectively, and follow developed standardized processes
• Must be a U.S. citizen

Desired Skills:

• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office products (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint)
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat
• Experience with the development of new publications from inception to publication
• Experience with web-based systems and operating system processes

Required Education & Experience:BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university in English, Technical Communication, or related field
