A DAY IN THE LIFE

In this position you\'ll use your skills and experience to perform scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines. During a typical day, you will work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather. At this new site start up near Delta, MS, you will typically have shifts 5 days a week at 8-10 hours a day, with on-call and overtime as well. The team size here is 5 technicians servicing 40 turbines. This is a great technician leadership opportunity with Vestas!

\xe2\x9c\x93 You will need a safety-focused mindset

\xe2\x9c\x93 Your positive attitude will contribute to your ability to work in a team environment, while being motivated and taking initiative in daily tasks

\xe2\x9c\x93 You will bring at least 5 yrs of extensive work on Vestas other O&M turbine models/platforms. Tech 3 qualifications and LOTO 3 preferred
\xe2\x9c\x93 You have performed mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repair work pertaining to main component replacements such as gearboxes, main bearings, generators, transformers, and blades in the wind industry
