We are currently seeking a TEMP BPO Sr. Analyst to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Senior Business Analyst in the Project Management Office, you are responsible for the scoping, planning and execution of strategic initiatives that are the direct result of company strategy. Project types range from development of new service offerings to business transformation to the design and implementation of technology solutions. As a senior contributor, assigned projects will involve large scale organizational change, or a portfolio of several smaller initiatives with more focused impact.
In this role, you will work cross functionally across business and technology leaders who are focused on the dynamic needs of the local health care markets, while contributing to a project team focused on a common goal.

Essential Functions

The main responsibilities in this position will be to:

• Elicit business priorities, processes, and requirements from Business Owners and stakeholders
• Provide documentation and translation of business cases, business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications to technical and delivery teams
• Work with the business and testing teams to validate functionality and usability of business processes and applications.
• Identify strategies for meeting business needs while ensuring effective and efficient use of IT resources.
• May also contribute to development of user manuals, training materials, and development of service level agreements.

In addition to project work, the Business Analyst will also contribute to continuously improving the Project Management Office framework, working across leadership in IT, Analytics, and the Project Management Office.
In order to fulfill these essential functions, the Business Analyst will be expected work in the context of a project centric environment (both agile & waterfall), understand issues of data integrity and data relationships, be familiar with healthcare population management and analytics, as well as physician and hospital practices/workflow. The employee must be able to work independently while being accountable to a team of clinical, technical, and project management experts.

Requirements

• Knowledge of healthcare population management, quality improvement, and cost containment concepts
• Ability to elicit business requirements and laisse with business leaders
• Superior analytical, facilitation skills
• Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple priorities, and escalate effectively
• Ability to perform root cause analysis
• Excellent writing and communication skills, with an ability to translate complex ideas into clear, easy-to-understand concepts. Ability to present complex concepts in graphical and non-technical language
• Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, consensus building skills
• Independence, initiative, resourcefulness, and an attitude of teamwork and service
• Ability to work effectively remotely

Education and Experience

• Minimum of a four-year degree in business, computer science, or healthcare related field required
• 6+ years of business analysis experience required
• Healthcare experience preferred
• BABOK or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
• Demonstrated success leading technical projects with matrixed project teams
• Experience in delivering projects across multiple SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc)
