Territory Sales Manager (south Carolina)

Job Description


Our client, due to growth is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for a South Carolina territory. Ideal candidates will live in Columbia or Charleston or anywhere in between. In this role, we are seeking individuals who have experience selling PPE (especially fall protection) or, experience as a Safety Manager. We expect the successful candidate to be an excellent communicator who understands customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Effective territory sales and marketing strategies
  • Analyze data to find the most efficient sales methods
  • Meet with customers to address concerns and provide solutions
  • Discovering new sales opportunities
  • Present safety products (PPE) and services to prospective customers
  • Participate in industry or promotional events (trade shows)
  • Assess sales performance according to KPIs
  • Monitor competition within assigned region
Requirements and skills
  • Proven experience as a Territory Manager or Safety Manager
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue as an outside sales representative (willing to train Safety Managers)
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organizational and leadership ability
  • Problem-solving aptitude
