Job Description

Kett Engineering is accepting applications and pre-qualifying candidates to be test drivers for 1st and 2nd shift and weekend drivers. This program is working with our customer in a research and development program in Dearborn, MI. The Test Driver follows the direction of Lead Driver and/or Project Coordinator, performs various driving services on vehicles per shift according to customers specifications. and represents Kett Engineering in a professional manner. Pay rate: $15.30/hr. Monday - Friday 1st shift: 4:00 am to 12:30 or 2:30 pm 2nd shift: 4:00 pm to 12:30 or 2:30 am Saturday and Sunday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm or 5:30 pm Essential Functions:

• Demonstrate ability to drive all schedules certified on, with complete schedule integrity and does so on a consistent basis
• Prepare accurate driver reports and other records on a daily basis, document observations in a clear and concise manner
• Perform related driving/vehicle prep work as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must have at least 5 years of licensed driving experience.
• Valid driver\'s license.
• Must have a clean driving record for the last 3 years. No points, moving violations or at-fault accidents.
• Must be able to drive in inclement weather.
• Must be able to able to drive up to 3 hours between breaks.

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dearborn, MI 48120: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
