Test & Evaluation Analyst

SimVentions, consistently voted one Virginia\'s Best Places to Work, is looking for experienced Test & Evaluation (T&E) Analysts and Engineers to join our team, supporting the US Navy\xe2\x80\x99s Electromagnetic Warfare Program.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide T&E support and expertise to/across all IWS2 Decoy programs
  • Prepare and/or review technical and programmatic T&E documentation
  • Support IWS2 in the program management, acquisition management, and strategies with T&E recommendations for Decoy programs
  • Work with the DoD, US Navy field activities, Naval Research Laboratories, Integrated Product Teams, Technical Teams, Working Groups, various vendors and other external stakeholders to develop, identify, locate, support, acquire, and manage test requirements
  • Support the review and refinement of Decoy program\xe2\x80\x99s M&S strategies
  • Coordinate and participate in Government data analysis and reviews
  • Support the Decoy program\xe2\x80\x99s lifecycle and product support activities through test, integration, and delivery of hardware and/or software
  • Provide T&E review and inputs to the Decoy Model Based Systems Engineering implementation, reviews, and comment on model based and other requirements (e.g., DOORS deliveries)
Required Skills & Experience:
  • At least five (5) years of Systems Engineering (SE) and/or T&E relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task & provide high quality services and products, while meeting strict deadlines and time constraints
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment
  • Ability to operate in a highly dynamic environment with a wide variety of programmatic/technical challenges
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Must be energetic, thoughtful, product-oriented, dependable, flexible, open-minded individual with an eagerness to learn
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic
  • Demonstrated forward thinking and proactive problem solving skills
  • Ability to understand complex problems and break them down into achievable solutions
  • Ability to provide summaries and recommendations of complex technical issues to program management
Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Electronic Warfare/Decoy experience, and/or DoD program office experience
  • Specific experience in Integration and Test planning and execution, Software and Hardware integration, Hardware and Software development
  • Experience with MATLAB
  • 8-12 years System Engineering and/or Test & Evaluation experience
Education:
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent Technician\xe2\x80\x99s experience
  • BS STEM degree (preferred)
Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Travel: 35% (1-2 times per month)

Telework Details: You must have the ability to work in person at the Program Office and various DC area organizations 2-3 times per week.

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate\xe2\x80\x99s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.

The projected annual compensation range for this position is $100,000-$150,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
