Job Description

FULL TIME DAYSProvides therapeutic recreation services to patients referred for services to restore, remediate and rehabilitate a person\'s level of functioning and independence in life activities, to promote health and wellness and to reduce or eliminate activity and participation restrictions.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Bachelor\'s degree with major in Therapeutic Recreation is required. Current National Council of Therapeutic Recreation Certification is required. BLS certification required within 90 days of hire date.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:Rehabilitation Setting: Clinical training and experience in a physical rehabilitation setting is preferred. Behavioral Health Setting: Clinical experience in a behavioral health setting as Recreation Therapist is preferred.Additional Information
