Job Description


There is one vacancy with the Department of Human Resources, Administration Division, Equal Opportunity Office located at Kapalama Hale. Under the direction of the Equal Opportunity Administrator, the position serves as the City\'s Compliance Manager for Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VI) and manages the policies, programs, and training with regard to Title VI.

***Salary is commensurate with applicable experience: $8,002 to $12,806 per month (EM-03), pending approval and subject to funding availability***

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from a regionally-accredited four year college or university with a bachelor\'s degree.

Education obtained outside of the United States must be comparable to a degree earned at a regionally-accredited college/university in the United States. In order to receive credit for the education, a foreign credential evaluation (FCE) must be provided. We also reserve the right to request further information about your academic program, evidence of comparability, or an original transcript.

Work experience may be substituted for a bachelor\'s degree on a year-for-year basis. Such experience must have provided the knowledge, skills, and analytical ability normally gained from the attainment of a bachelor\'s degree.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Four (4) years of progressively responsible professional experience in researching and providing guidance to management officials or other decision makers on Federal, State or local laws, rules and regulations affecting organizational compliance, two (2) years of which must have involved performing at a senior level involving the most difficult and complex issues, in-depth research, preparing clearly written reports and other relevant communication to upper level management officials within an organization;

OR
Four (4) years of progressively responsible professional experience in developing, implementing, coordinating, evaluating, and monitoring organizational programs to ensure compliance with various laws, rules and regulations, two (2) years of which must have involved performing at a senior level involving the most difficult and complex program issues including reviewing, analyzing and evaluating program effectiveness and directing the implementation of sound corrective measures.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE EVALUATION:
