Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children in a classroom setting and will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of Toddler-aged children. This role requires strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage with children of varying abilities.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote learning through play. Foster a safe and welcoming classroom environment where children feel valued and respected. Engage children in activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and critical thinking. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques. Provide care for infants and toddlers as needed, ensuring their health and safety at all times. Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and any incidents that occur within the classroom. Collaborate with other educators, staff, and parents to support each child's individual learning needs.

Requirements

Proven experience working with children in a preschool or similar educational setting. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Ability to manage a classroom effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere. First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain if not currently certified. Experience with toddler care and infant care is a plus. Familiarity with behavior management strategies for young children. Experience or training in special education is beneficial but not required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and caregivers.
