Job Summary:
The Training and Development Professional is responsible for driving cultural change through engagement, passion for improvement, and education of plant workforce. This position assesses company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives, and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees. This position actively searches, creatively designs, and implements effective methods to educate, enhance and recognize performance.
Job Responsibilities:
\xc2\xb7 Conducts annual training and development needs assessment for employees
\xc2\xb7 Assist with HR with developing training and development programs and objectives working with functional business leaders: leadership development, team dynamics, conflict management, functional skills, etc\xe2\x80\xa6
\xc2\xb7 Obtains and /or develops effective training materials and programs utilizing a variety of media: online, live classroom both in-house and external programs
\xc2\xb7 Trains managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts
\xc2\xb7 Plans, organizes, facilitates and orders supplies for employee development and training events
\xc2\xa7 Develops and maintains organizational communications such as intranet bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources
\xc2\xa7 Presents to internal teams on metrics, project status and outcomes, and performance to goals Requirements:
\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited university or college in a relevant field
\xc2\xb7 3-5 years of experience coordinating and implementing employee training

\xc2\xb7 Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills
\xc2\xb7 Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
\xc2\xb7 Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
\xc2\xb7 Ability to design and implement effective training and development
\xc2\xb7 Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential preferred
\xc2\xb7 SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred
