The Training Coordinator will be responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating and evaluating all training programs and projects, act as the main point of contact for all training related enquiries, answering beneficiaries and partners\' requests, communicating and coordinating with trainers, training\xe2\x80\x99s facilitators, and other relevant teams. Under the supervision of Education and Workforce Development Administrator, the Training Coordinator will support the Education department in the development and execution of training programs. Training Coordinator \xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for maintaining the MiCHWA CHW Training Calendar - Master List of trainings and cohorts planned during the year. \xe2\x97\x8f Support MiCHWA training partners with requesting cohort approval processes, including monitoring Cohort Request Forms, approving cohorts and sending out notices, adding cohort information to website, social media to promote cohorts, \xe2\x97\x8f Monitoring cohort graduation and successful completion of cohort scheduling cohorts \xe2\x97\x8f Support the Education and Workforce Development Administrator in coordinating data collection and reporting process across CHW training sites, and creating a tracking tool for cohort management and reporting \xe2\x97\x8f Tracking of additional data as defined by Education and Workforce Development
Administrator and to gauge effectiveness of training program. \xe2\x97\x8f Attend and provide reporting to project officers & officials in partnership with Education and Workforce Development Administrator, Grants and Program Manager and Executive
Director. CHW Certificate Training Program \xe2\x97\x8f The Training Coordinator will teach with fidelity the 166 hr MiCHWA CHW Certificate
Training Program to trainees enrolled in MiCHWA courses. The CHW Instructor will provide a minimum of 126 hours of training in the MiCHWA (\xe2\x80\x9cCHW\xe2\x80\x9d) Training Program, using the approved MiCHWA CHW curriculum. At least 101 hours of training must be in the classroom and led by the Certified Instructor and 25 hours may be self-study. Certified CHW Instructor, Train the Trainer Program \xe2\x97\x8f As a Master Trainer, the Training Coordinator will organize, promote and lead the MiCHWA Certified CHW Instructor training program in collaboration with the Education and Workforce Development Administrator and MiCHWA Master trainers. \xe2\x97\x8f Provide and coordinate with Master Trainers to provide, support and technical assistance to new CHW instructors as they prepare to deliver their first CHW trainings. \xe2\x97\x8f Provides and coordinates with Master Trainers to provide CHW Instructor Trainees opportunities to shadow Master Trainers during the delivery of a CHW Training. \xe2\x97\x8f Provides and coordinates with Master Trainers to assist Certified CHW Instructors with ongoing questions related to the curriculum and implementation of the curriculum. \xe2\x97\x8f Obtain and maintain fluency in Canvas Learning Management System with the ability to train and support other CHW Instructors in Canvas LMS and support CHW trainees enrolled in courses. \xe2\x97\x8f Provides and coordinates with Master Trainers to provide CHW Instructor Trainees opportunities to shadow Master Trainers during the delivery of a CHW Training. Education & Workforce Development Workgroup \xe2\x97\x8f Attend and actively participate Education & Workforce Development Workgroup meetings. Support the Education and Workforce Development Administrator by serving as a back up by providing administrative support including recording meeting minutes, collaborating with workgroup chair, etc. \xe2\x97\x8f Other duties as assigned as it relates to the role of Training Coordinator. Required Qualifications:
\xe2\x97\x8f Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in public health, human services, or related field (Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree or graduate education preferred) \xe2\x97\x8f Experience as a community health worker preferred \xe2\x97\x8f Experience managing CHW teams or programs serving underserved or high-risk populations preferred \xe2\x97\x8f MiCHWA Certified CHW Instructor preferred \xe2\x97\x8f Experience in Canvas Learning Management (preferred) \xe2\x97\x8f Commitment to health equity & diversity \xe2\x97\x8f Experience or training in nonprofit project coordination and/or management \xe2\x97\x8f Experience in data analysis, report writing, communication & public speaking \xe2\x97\x8f Understanding of finance and budgeting related to grant-project activities \xe2\x97\x8f Excellent verbal and written communication skills, \xe2\x97\x8f Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat
