Position Overview:
This position assesses, creates, administers and delivers RLS (home mortgage solutions) training in alignment to the mission and vision statements of RLS management. This includes RLS operations specific development, support and coaching for all RLS departments and building strategic relationships that will enhance the effectiveness of the RLS retail and partner lending program.

Essential Functions:
  • RLS Training Program Management: Assess the needs of the RLS team members to design and create training programs applicable to the mortgage industry needs. Facilitate comprehensive training programs specific to RLS such as loan origination, compliance, sales training and/or specific modules as part of the overall RLS programs, including onboarding and training of partners. Research and utilize a variety of sources and materials for training documents. Collaborate with Human Resources Learning and Development on training content and deployment strategies.
  • Market Research: Leverage internal databases, industry resources and client studies to create an ongoing deep understanding of tools and technologies available and their impact on the client and partner experience.
  • RLS Leadership Support: Provide tools and develop resources in collaboration with Compeer Learning and Development (i.e. guidelines, documents, modules, videos, etc.) for sales and operations leadership to use for learning, training, implementing and reinforcing the origination process. Training may be developed internally or come from best practices gathered from subject matter experts or other industry sources. Participate in marketplace and leadership meetings as needed. Gather feedback from leadership on goals, objectives, strategy, philosophy, etc. related to training and development needs and programs. Provide updates and timelines for project management.
Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business administration, finance, economics, agribusiness or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • 3-5 years of consumer lending experience.
  • Knowledge of federal and state (Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin) laws, regulations and compliance requirements specific to the financial industry and Farm Credit.
  • Expert knowledge of Compeer Financial sales philosophy.
  • Specialized knowledge of Compeer products and services.
  • Strategic and innovative.
  • Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Skill in developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
  • Strong problem solving, decision making and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) programs.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
  • Ability to remain objective in balancing business needs and risk.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams to achieve goals and represent the business.
