The Opportunity
The Transfer Credit Evaluation Specialist I is responsible for assessing whether student files meet admission criteria, makes admission decisions, processes transfer credit and course waiver evaluations, and reviews transcripts for applicants to Global Campus undergraduate or graduate programs. The Transfer Credit Evaluation Specialist I ensures an accurate evaluation of credit for all prior learning including transfer credit, life experience, and nontraditional training within 24-48 hours of receipt of assessment materials, and creates new student program worksheets based on transfer credit assessment. This role works collaboratively with other departments to ensure results are communicated to the student within the service level agreement established.

The Transfer Credit Evaluation Specialist (TCES) assesses whether student files meet admission criteria, makes admission decisions, processes transfer credit and course waiver evaluations, and prior learning for applicants to Southern New Hampshire University. Working under the supervision of ESS leadership, the TCES will ensure accurate evaluation of credit for all prior learning including transfer credit, life experience, and nontraditional training. The TCES will work with Admission, Advising and the Registrar to complete and communicate transfer assessments. The TCES will be responsible for collaboration with Academics and Advising for generating the student program plan.
