The Opportunity

Tax Manager, Transfer Pricing \xe2\x80\x93 Position reports to the Senior Manager and will provide support in the areas of transfer pricing strategic planning, compliance and modeling. The position has responsibility for developing, implementing, documenting and defending Abbott\xe2\x80\x99s worldwide transfer pricing strategy.

Primary Function:

Help manage, implement, and support global transfer pricing strategic projects such as business supply chain planning, business restructurings, acquisition integration, etc.

conduct and assist with managing detailed economic and financial analyses to determine optimal solutions to intercompany transaction flows (tangible assets, intangible assets, services, etc.)

identify opportunities to strategically implement transfer pricing structures to deliver effective tax rate and cash tax benefits

Proactively identify and help manage transfer pricing risks by ensuring consistent application of transfer pricing practices and documentation for global intercompany transactions.

identify transfer pricing issues and propose strategies to mitigate risks

prepare and/or review required global transfer pricing documentation and economic benchmarks

ensure BEPS compliance for all documentation, including country-by-country reporting

collaborate with the corporate pricing and customs groups to set transfer prices

evaluate need for transfer pricing adjustments and execute necessary adjustments

Assist in tax audit defense for both U.S. and foreign entities and provide management with strategic defense options.

develop strategic responses to IDRs

evaluate the advantages of obtaining APAs and coordinate the process of obtaining and/or renewing APAs

Build and maintain relationships internally with finance colleagues as well as externally with outside advisors

Requirements:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting

6+ years or relevant work experience in transfer pricing, economics, finance or tax

Strong analytical, interpersonal, organization, communication, prioritization and time management skills

Advanced data analytics and financial modeling in excel

Experience with Alteryx preferred

Strong attention to detail

The base pay for this position is $90,700.00 \xe2\x80\x93 $181,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
