CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in preparation, review, and filing of U.S. federal, state, or international tax returns. Apply knowledge of tax laws and concepts to assist in meeting the reporting requirements of the Company\xe2\x80\x99s operations.
Research complex tax issues and be proficient in interpreting and applying the tax law, regulations, and cases to specific transactions and factual situations.
Provide support with the annual and quarterly tax provision processes, including review and analysis of tax provision calculations, analysis of tax accounts and reserves. This includes a working knowledge of ASC 740 tax accounting and other necessary FASB pronouncements, as well as internal controls.
Assist with responding to IRS audit information requests.
Provide leadership to staff. Develop and mentor staff through coaching, goal setting and performance evaluations.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITY / SCOPE:
May have responsibility for direct reports(s). Interacts with personnel throughout the tax and finance organization.
BAISC QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5-8 years of tax experience. Public Accounting or Fortune 500 corporate tax experience preferred.
B.A./B.S. in Accounting/Finance required.
CPA and/or MST strongly preferred.
