Serves as a part of a team with rotating job functions, including scheduling, After-The-Fact reconciliation (ATF), E-Tag approval, checkout, and several miscellaneous duties in compliance with NERC/WECC policy. The position will work Monday through Friday and be On-Call on a rotating basis.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for the Mid-Level position include the following:

• Pre-Schedule all energy moving through PacifiCorp\'s system.
• Monitor ETAG approval/denials.
• Perform Internal/Borderline scheduling.
• Conduct After-The-Fact reconciliation.
• Perform CAS (control area scheduling) checkout vs. scheduling software.
• Provide OASIS backup as needed.
• Work with Real Time Scheduling to resolve differences as needed.

Responsibilities for the Senior position include the following:

• Lead the Pre-Schedule of all energy moving through PacifiCorp\'s system.
• Lead and assist with monitoring ETAG approval/denials.
• Lead and assist with Internal/Borderline scheduling.
• Lead and assist After-The-Fact reconciliation.
• Lead and assist CAS checkout. Provide OASIS backup as needed.
• Work with Real Time Scheduling to resolve differences as needed.
• Perform and maintain the system load calculation in Energy Accounting System (EAS)
• Perform and maintain other non-load calculation in Energy Accounting System (EAS)
• Monitor/maintain/update scheduling filters in Control Area Scheduling (CAS) system.
• Lead and respond to data requests on an as needed basis

RequirementsRequirements for the Mid-Level position include the following:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Marketing or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of three years of experience with scheduling or dispatching activities.
• Communication and interpersonal skills for communicating requirements and establishing effective working relationships with traders, dispatchers or other entities.
• Proficient with the use of computer applications and automated tools to support trading activities.

In addition to the above, the Senior level requirements include:

• A minimum of five years of experience with scheduling or dispatching activities.

Preferences

• Knowledge of the WECC transmission grid, power plants, market hubs, and interchange points between companies.
• Experience with electronic tagging and associated NERC and WECC policies and business practices.
• Process management skills for monitoring all facets of utility system operation.
• Knowledge of company policies practices procedures, applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
